Who we are

ContentLineup is a free WordPress plugin built and maintained by Teczon Labs. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at iqbal@teczonlabs.com.

The short version

  • ContentLineup does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to Teczon Labs servers.
  • Your API keys are stored locally in your WordPress database and are never sent to us.
  • Article content is sent directly from your WordPress site to the AI provider you choose (OpenAI or Google Gemini) and to Unsplash for image retrieval.
  • We have no analytics, tracking pixels, telemetry, or usage reporting in the plugin.

Generated article content, images, and metadata are saved as standard WordPress posts in your site's database. They never pass through Teczon Labs infrastructure.

What we do NOT collect

  • We do not run analytics or tracking of any kind inside the plugin.
  • We do not phone home, ping a license server, or contact any Teczon Labs endpoint.
  • We do not store your API keys, article content, user information, or site URL on our servers.
  • We do not inject cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts on your site's frontend.

Third-party services

ContentLineup connects to the following external services. Each has its own privacy policy and terms governing how they handle the data you send. We encourage you to review them:

ServicePrivacy PolicyTerms of Service
OpenAIPrivacy PolicyTerms of Service
Google Gemini APIPrivacy PolicyTerms of Service
UnsplashPrivacy PolicyTerms of Service

These services are called only when you explicitly trigger an action (generating an article or fetching images). The plugin never sends data in the background or without your initiation.

Data stored on your WordPress site

The plugin stores the following in your WordPress database:

  • Your API keys for OpenAI, Gemini, and Unsplash (in the wp_options table).
  • Plugin settings and configuration.
  • Generated articles as standard WordPress posts and post meta.
  • Unsplash image URLs and attribution metadata in post content.

If you uninstall the plugin, your posts remain (they are native WordPress posts). Plugin settings and API keys stored in wp_optionscan be removed via the plugin's cleanup option or manually from the database.

User consent

The plugin requires you to manually enter your API keys in the settings page and explicitly click “Generate” to trigger any external requests. This constitutes informed, opt-in consent as described in the WordPress.org Plugin Guidelines. No data is ever sent automatically or in the background.

Children’s privacy

ContentLineup is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The third-party AI services used by this plugin also have their own age restrictions — please refer to their policies linked above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the plugin's functionality or the services it connects to. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
